About me

My name is Dámaris Plá Sánchez. I’m a pharmacist specializing in dermocosmetics, and I’m passionate about making the science of skin easy for everyone to understand.

After more than ten years in the pharmaceutical industry, I decided to launch Tinycosmetics DP in 2019—an outreach project with a very clear goal: to help people understand what their skin really needs and how to choose cosmetics wisely.

Tinycosmetics DP is a space where I combine outreach, cosmetic education, and advice to help you care for your skin and hair.

My approach is simple: to explain cosmetics clearly, honestly, and based on scientific evidence.

On a personal level, I’m passionate about traveling, Asian culture, nature, and animals. Ever since I was a child, I’ve always loved reading and writing, and I’ve dreamed of writing a book someday. Today, I can tell that restless, dreamy little girl that we’ve managed to publish seven books (four romance novels and three self-help books)—and there are more to come!
